Domestic ( United States and Canada ) transportation
includes Door-to-Door service on an open car carrier,
with full insurance coverage included. ( Damage &
Liability ). Insurance coverage commences once vehicle
is loaded on the carrier and ends once unloaded at its
destination. Most Canadian transport will be by train
International and Overseas transportation is ordinarily
from Port to Port. Door to Door service is also available.
Insurance on land transportation is as mentioned above.
For the Ocean portion of Transport an additional charge
for insurance is recommended but not required. The cost
is usually 4% of the total cost of your transport.
When booking your vehicle for transport it is advisable
to allow 7 to 14 days notice so that we may properly
schedule our transporters. Rush moves are also possible.
Please be advised that your automobile
must be in proper running order and that Federal Law
prohibits the stowing of any personal goods in any part
of your vehicle during its Interstate or International
transport. ( including Trunk) If the shipper and the
driver agree otherwise it remains at the drivers discretion.
In such a case we assume no responsibility and no liability
in the matter.
A deposit will be required at time of booking. The deposit
varies between 10 and 20 percent of the total and depends
on the complexity of the move. All credit cards payments
are processed by Pay Pal. The balance is due on the
day of pick-up or upon delivery and is only payable
by Cash, Money Order or Certified Check.
Refunds of Booking deposits are available if transport
is canceled within 7 days, prior to the scheduled pick
up date.
In-operable Vehicles – We ship In-Ops to most
destinations. The rates are usually 20% higher then
standard transportation rates.
Motorcycles and Small Vehicles –
We transport motorcycles and small vehicles in Enclosed
trailers for domestic locations. For overseas transport
motorcycles and small vehicles need to be crated for
most locations which requires an additional cost. Insurance
is as mentioned above for domestic and overseas transport.
Enclosed Transportation – We offer
enclosed transportation for most vehicles. The average
price increase compared to our open carrier rate is
from 50 to 75 percent more expensive. The insurance
coverage is as aforementioned
Large Vehicles – If the vehicle
is less than 8 feet 6 inches in width it can be transported
as an ordinary shipment. If the width exceeds 8’
6” special permits and escort vehicles are required.
We can make the necessary arrangement for these special
loads.
